I currently teach at a title 1 Charter School located in a high poverty stricken area of Grand Prarie, TX . My 4th grade scholars are eager to grow their brains and reach their academic goals. They frequently let me know about their goals of being future Community Leaders, Doctors, Lawyers, and Teachers. In order to reach these goals, they must build high literacy skills. This can only be done by obtaining resources to help aid in this area of academic development. Your generous donation will help my COLLEGE BOUND 4th grade scholars become COLLEGE READY! I post the following quote in my classroom to remind students of why their education is so important: "Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom" - George Washington Carver.
