My students are a group of wonderful students. I have known many of them since last year, as I started at the school as a substitute teacher and long-termed subbed for many of their 4th grade teacher last year. They come together to make a group of students that really make my first year of teaching enjoyable. Each student is unique, and they are right at the age where they are starting to make and understand jokes, so we often have a few good laughs throughout the day. They are excited about learning, and love feeling successful and showing their work off. My classroom is lined with beautiful student work. They come up with ideas for how to rearrange the room, how to care for the class pet, and even sometimes what we should learn about. I am happy to say I have a very student-lead classroom that works out well.
