Distance learning during the Covid-19 has created a gap in our students math knowledge. The past couple of school years have shown us many ways technology can aid in education. Now that we are back in the classrooms we are needing to balance the benefits technology and the benefits of in person learning. These iPads and Apple Pencil will allow me to connect to the whiteboard and offer engaging real time math lessons while being mobile in the classroom. That mobility will allow me to help individual students as needed and still “write” on the whiteboard to keep lessons moving. These technology aids will also help to work with students in pairs, offering specific gap closing lessons in reading and writing. Students can even work with partners to edit their writing projects.
