In a typical day we teach over 100 students. We would like ten Chromebooks as Chromebooks are vital in an inclusion classroom as a necessary way to differentiate for students with various cognitive abilities. Some of the activities for which we will use Chromebooks are: • Individuala and small groups will use audio books so students have independent access to grade level texts • All students use Google docs so students can complete work privately • Students learning English will have access to vocabulary and texts at their individual levels • We will be able to “send” small groups of students on Web Quests to places all around the globe to study a variety of topics • Students will be able to use visual representation: some students better demonstrate their learning through “prezi” and other online presentation applications • And much more . . . book journals, classroom website, timelines, watching TeacherTube and TED talks, research . . .
