My scholars need headphones for our computer learning station and literacy listening learning station. During learning station time, scholars work independently on literacy tasks that will help them be successful readers. My 3rd grade scholars will use these essential materials to listen to books on CD and explore our literacy computer programs. Ultimately these activities will lead to an improvement in reading comprehension and fluency! Both of these skills are so important in order for scholars to pass the Third Grade Reading Guarantee, a state test that mandates scholars are reading at a third grade reading level by the end of the school year. Your generous donation to our project will improve our third grade literacy skills by building stronger, more passionate readers! This addition to our literacy learning station will change my scholars' lives for the better and allow their love of reading to grow tremendously. Thank you in advance for helping my scholars be successful -- not only during their third grade year, but in life!
