Often times we think of 5 year-olds as having little minds, on one track. This is so not the case! For the children we teach in this area, their minds are broad, some of them have so much to worry about, and the others have so much they want to learn. My students have shown curiousity from learning a new language to learning everything there is to know about earth science! Their minds are like wheels that never stop turning! It warms my heart to know that our school is like a safe haven for many of them. When they are here they are eager to learn so they can go back and enlighten parents and/or their younger siblings. I'm glad to be apart of that something that they can look forward to everyday!
