My students use the school laptops every day during ELA small group to get on their iReady. This program allows our students receive reading lessons that will help boast them to the grade level they need to be on. It provides Phonics, Phonological Awareness, High Frequency Words, Vocabulary, and Comprehension instruction which our students really need. These lessons are interactive which helps our students learn so they need to be wearing headphones in order to listen to the lessons. Our headphones are many years old and are breaking and shocking the students in their ears sometimes. It's hindering their learning because they don't want to increase the volume without headphones because it will disturb their classmates. I would love to provide them with new headphones that they can use for their computer time. FSA is around the corner and we will be buckling down on extra learning so these headphones will truly make a difference in my students' lives.
