I teach in a classroom of kindergarten, first, second and third grade students in a self contained unit for students with Autism. My class is very sweet and loving and full of energy. They don't always know how to get their energy out, and often it comes out during small group work, math, lunch or writing. Due to this we try to make academic as fun and interactive as possible while learning the standards. Our school is located in a high poverty, migrant community. These students may come and go throughout the school year, as agricultural labor needs change with the seasons. Our school environment is very welcoming and family oriented, which supports the families and community alike. We have started a school garden that will not only help my class but all the classes in the school alike. Please help us learn through this garden by supplying us with the products me need to make it run. Thank you for your help!
