My students are wonderful, artistic, and bright 1st graders. They are enthusiastic about everything & anything around them. However, there is so much more to see and discover, past the limits and disparities that hold them back in their environment. I always imagine how wonderful it would be to teach them art using proper materials, similar to what professionals use! This school is a Title 1 school, receiving 100% free lunch based on lower family income levels. Despite all the budget cuts in a struggling school district, we have managed to raise our API score to 860, proving that education is our priority. We are driven and passionate about learning, exploring, and enriching our lives through education and art! Please help our students realize their potentials to the fullest! We hope you agree that learning should be deemed a right...not a privilege; and no child should be deprived of opportunities such as this. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
