A new classroom rug will give my students a bright, clean, comfortable place to gather and learn. We spend a large part of our day on the rug. We start each day with literacy, writing and math. The students spread out during center time and we gather for share time and read aloud. Our rug is the focal point of our classroom. A new rug will have a huge, positive impact on our classroom. The rug we are using right now is extremely old and stained. Although I have personally had it professionally cleaned, and the school has also had it cleaned, the odor and the stains are still present. I want my students to have the best of everything and be proud of their classroom. I also want them to have a clean, safe and comfortable place to gather and learn.
