All of my students enjoy playing a string instrument. String classes are designed for teaching students who have never played an instrument having no musical background from grade kindergarten to 5th grade. Having this technology will allow me to use more than two devices to have maintained google meets, google hang out, and google break out rooms. This helps me teach asynchronously to assist students who may struggle with a particular technique or section of the music. Our students will feel safe and comfortable during formal and informal assessments because they will be able to play for their teachers virtually and on their home applications. I will also be able to share my screen using larger music font so students who are visually impaired can and will participate with adaptive notation and directives on the music. The microphone is vital for music recording and teaching students while using more than one computer. Students will be able to hear recordings and recorded lessons clearly. This teacher microphone will help students when they use their headphones at home to block out other noises around them. Then, because of our current situation, the scanner and label maker makes is possible to apply a touch-free check-in and check-out instrument process for our safety. The computer and microphone will enhance the teaching quality and adaptive lessons needed for all learners in my virtual classrooms. Every student deserves the best learning opportunity; especially when learning to play the violin, viola, cello, or bass online. They must be able to hear the teacher, hear the instructional lesson, and see the instruction clearly. Students must be able to safely collect their instrument to and from school.
