This is the 12th year that our school is an "A" school. Our students work extremely hard to achieve this goal every year. We are a Title 1 school. Seventy-five percent of our students are on free or reduced lunch. Drama provides our students a release from the rigors and stress of the academic course load. Drama doesn't receive funds from the school or the county. All of our funds come from performances. The money is used to make or buy costumes, build sets and attend field trips to other theaters. We write most of our scripts from movies and novels. Everything in our auditorium is out dated. We only have 2 body microphones that work and they fade in and out. Our students and parents really enjoy our performances. Here is a list of some of the plays we've performed in the past: Grease, The Wiz, The Outsiders, Freedom Writers, Wicked, Hairspray, Dreamgirls, Goldilocks on Trial, and Freak the Mighty.
