These headphones will allow my students to explore the world of literature through technology. With our 1:1 ratio of iPads, my students are able to explore different literature through the use of educational tools. Due to many circumstances, not every student in my class can provide their own headphones. The document camera would provide a way for me to demonstrate reading strategies, share visual examples, and promote student sharing with my students. These resources would provide my students with a reliable resource for their educational needs. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more and these resources will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading through audio and visual resources. With the variety of reading levels in my classroom, it is important that each student be able to encounter books that fit their educational needs. Through the use of audiobooks and online literature, students are able to access resources that will allow every student to succeed. With the help of a document camera and class set of headphones, my students would be able to read and listen to books that engage their love for reading. My students would use these headphones to listen to books that include their interests and will enhance their reading ability. These resources will be used each year to engage many more students.
