I am trying to make it so that my students have a new way of learning math. Students learn best when they are active and engaged in their learning. Board games help stimulate and engage the students in the learning in a fun way, that gets them away from lectures and workbooks. My students will get a break and have fun Fridays where they will get away from the typical lectures and workbooks. Life, Monopoly, and other games will help students with basic math skills as well as engaging in critical thinking skills needed for everyday life. Students will be engaged in a wide variety of math skills, but thinking that they are only having fun.
