I am requesting wobble seats, balance ball chairs and a MOLUK Bilibo. The alternative seating will allow my students to attend to instruction, work independently, and have better participation during non-preferred activities. They must have these as we return to in-person learning on campus. In addition, as a first-year teacher in a new classroom that was supplied with typical tables and chairs, it is essential that my students have seating that provides sensory support and helps attend to their learning. With this type of seating, my students can focus on learning and perform their best. In addition, they will be able to choose the most suitable seat to meet their sensory needs at the time. Providing them with various choices will decrease frustration and allow multiple students to share the same experience and academic success.
