Our community is full of parents that work very hard, value education, and want to be connected to their child's learning in the classroom. English is the second language for many of these families. Still, I had 91% of families participating in parent-teacher conferences this year. They're eager to get involved with their child's education and support the work that teachers are doing in the classroom. One resource I began using with parents this year is the Remind app. This application has allowed me to send announcements, messages, reminders, and pictures to parent's smartphones. The use of this app has greatly improved parent communication and participation in the classroom. I have seen how technology and educational apps can make a great positive impact on students and their families. With this project, I plan to continue to connect to families and make partnerships with par
