The world of Art intersects with innovation in design engineering which is all about transforming ideas into real products. It offers the chance to combine creativity with engineering expertise. This is why access to 21st century resources is essential to student exploration of 3D concepts in Art! 3D projects help students conceptualize, plan and design with 21st Century vision. I want my art students to utilize the design process to create 3D structures combining the technical thinking of the sciences and the aesthetics of art using the technology of 3D printing pens. Students will design structures that demonstrate aesthetics and functionality.
