COVID-19 changed teaching forever. The world quickly realized how important technology is to educate our children and prepare them for the real world. Many of our students did not have technology that they could use to learn at home so DCPS started purchasing devices for online learning. Unfortunately, a lot of the headphones did not return to the school, and/or their wear and tear prevent them from being used further. With the students being able to access the web using Chromebooks, they also require headphones to fully engage in learning through I-Ready and NearPod. Students will be able to research and learn more about with others are doing to help with the racial equity issues in the United States of America.
