Going into my fifth year of teaching I have found that students do not all read at one level. I have expanded my knowledge and found that in order to best address students' needs they must have access to quality books at a level they can read and understand. We need fiction and non-fiction books for students who read on Second through Fifth grade levels. The students I serve read at a variety of levels. I want my students to have access to books that they read on their own level as well as have books available at levels they progress to. Having this classroom library will give my students an opportunity to have books they can read and access on their own.
