The use of technology is on the rise and inevitable. I want to collaborate more with my students and with the use of an Apple TV my students can share with the class what is on their screen. I currently have a whiteboard and I want to enhance our classroom experience by connecting our minds and screens. We can interact with student work, stream videos, share ideas using our classroom applications Zearn and Amplify, and increase student participation. An Apple TV provides a multitude of freedom to walk around the classroom and be accessible to my students by mirroring my iPad as I teach. I want to prepare my students for the 21st century world and what better way than to teach them using a 21st century skill. My students love using technology; with an Apple TV we can grow our love of learning and prepare our students for the jobs that have yet to be created.
