My new classroom is filled with eager 3rd graders. The students are happy and excited to learn. Despite the homes that some of my students come from and the obstacles some have had to face to make it to this country, my students are amazing individuals. The diverse culture offers a fresh perspective on life and creates an atmosphere where all feel welcome. My school is a great place to work. I have amazing coworkers and a supportive administrator. We work together as a team to make sure our school is the best place to be. Teachers spend hours collaborating and improving their teaching techniques. Our students are excited to be at school every single day because it feels like a second home.
