Study after study has found that students learn better in a structured classroom that uses flexible seating. It also teaches students responsibility, empathy, and how to advocate for themselves. I have found this to be true in my classroom! My students will benefit greatly from the wobble chairs, stability disks and boards, and exercise balls/bases that this project is funding. Flexible seating has helped my students be more engaged, connected to the classroom, and excited about learning! This seating will help students find seating that is comfortable for them, whether it be a stability board, wobble chair, or exercise ball; that allows them to stay focused; and that increases their ability to learn and grow. This is such a game changer for our students and they are going to be so appreciative of this donation!
