I am requesting math manipulatives, resources from Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) to use with my students online, earbuds, scissors, and other essentials for the classroom. My students get SO excited every time we do our math or science lessons on their computers instead of paper and pencil. In today's COVID world, it is critical for me to have lessons for my students to complete online if they are having to do their learning from home. Using online lessons from TpT makes it SO much easier to accommodate all my students. My goal for all my students is to progress them up to 5th grade academic level. Currently, the majority of my students are below grade level due to missing school from COVID. My school only provides access to 5th grade lessons, resources, and materials, which are currently too difficult for most of my class, and TpT allows me to purchase lower-level assignments for my students that need remediation. Math is a LOT more fun when students get to use their hands! Math manipulatives are a research-based tool that can help lots of different learners grasp math concepts visually and kinesthetically. Students will use these to learn concepts like fraction number lines, and 3D shapes. Lastly, the scissors, earbuds, card stock, colored pencils, and kitchen scales will be used as necessary essentials for the physical classroom. Because we live in a low-income area, a LOT of my students do not come to school with the necessary supplies required for learning.
