The 4th grade students in my class are curious about the world and are highly motivated to find the answers to their questions! Some are English Language Learners coming from various Spanish speaking cultural backgrounds. All my students come from different socio-economic status levels. My students are diverse in learning styles and express their understanding of concepts differently: through drama, the visual arts, dance, technology and more! They are encouraged to form opinions about their learning, to support their thinking through text evidence, to share and respectfully disagree with one another. My students are collaborators, researchers and compassionate builders of a positive class community!
