I teach chorus and general music in a middle school in North Carolina. A high percentage of our students are considered at-risk and many families qualify for free- or reduced-lunch. Our culturally diverse population includes talented and high-energy students who are eager to learn about music. We enjoy strong support from the local community but funds are limited.
