The students that attend my school come from a variety of backgrounds and home lives. Some students have a stable home life and involved parents and some students have quite the opposite. I have many students whose parents work 2 or 3 jobs and are unable to help their students with any of their school work. These students have had to grow up faster than they should because they have been exposed to very difficult situations. However, they are still fourth graders who act silly and love to run around on the playground during recess. Even though some of these students have rough home lives, our school gives them the opportunity to be curious and innocent when they need it most.
