Although I'm a veteran teacher with more than a decade of teaching experience, this up coming school year will be a new experience for me. I will now be a 7th grade math teacher instead of a 6th grade math teacher. My teaching style will remain the same, but my approach to the concepts will have to be tweaked. Reason for the change: Due to declining health from both my mom and dad, I moved back home to help out. With the move, I was commuting an average of 3 to 3(1/2) hours a day. After three years of doing this, I made the difficult decision to change district. Which leads me to my new teaching position in Salem, MA. I will now be teaching 7th grade math instead of 6 grade. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time!
