My students are active, curious and respectful children who are all impacted by speech and language impairments. I have preschool students who attend all day Head Start classrooms on campus. I also work with kindergarten through 5th grade students. They come to the speech therapy room to work on comprehension, expressive language, articulation and social skills. They are English language learners and receive free lunch due to their low socio-economic status. They have a desire to communicate and connect with others but need support to share their thoughts and ideas. I help my students access their education within their general education classrooms.
