My students will bring their reading, writing, listening, speaking, and research skills to life as they listen to and produce their own podcasts! Some students will review novels they read, others will debate, and all will work collaboratively to understand how their skills are used beyond the classroom. Five iPads in the classroom will facilitate small groups of students to research, record, mix and edit their podcasts. This approach to publishing will empower them to use their voice and sharpen their skills with relevance. Their language arts skills will have a purpose and serve others as we post our podcasts on our school website for our families and community.
