The Scholastic News for grade 1 and Multicultural World Library will provide an adventurous world to my classroom including non-fictional daily reading aligned with Georgia's Next Generation Science and Georgia Standards of Excellence across the curriculum. The school supplies will make a huge difference in illustration. The magazines will be used daily for whole group literacy,independent reading and small intervention/enrichment (differentiated) groups to help close the gap of early literacy. The magazine will assist in interdisciplinary strategies that will promote literacy excellence to a group of students that would benefit from daily exposure/practice with the social sciences and real-life phenomena!
