One of my goals as a teacher is to inspire and excite the minds of children! I incorporate the arts wherever I can in my teaching. This means books, hands-on learning through art projects and even singing and dancing! I teach a 4th grade Integrated Co-Teaching Class (ICT) in a low-income, high poverty area of Northern Manhattan. Half of my class has special needs and English is a second language for most of our school. As my students are working at a variety of different academic levels, my job is to ensure all children are learning and moving forward. My co-teacher and I are always planning something special for our class. Thank you for looking at my page and helping me bring exciting new materials and experiences to my class!
