Help fund our classroom’s flexible seating initiative! My students cannot sit still for long periods of time. Many of them like to move around and need a variety of tools to be able to have an effective learning environment. My students need to have a variety of seating arrangements so that they are able to choose where to sit and so that they have a comfortable learning environment. The students would also be able to utilize a variety of writing instruments such as whiteboard tables and chalkboard tables. Many of the items will help them focus and be able to complete academic tasks in a more efficient and comfortable manner. Educational research shows that students are more willing to learn and have higher success rates in classrooms that utilize flexible seating.
