My students need three Fire HD 8 Kids Edition tablets because there are no computers in the classroom for them to use. With these tablets, my students will work in teams and individually to build their math and literacy skills. They will also learn about technology implementation in the classroom. The Fire 7 Kid-Proof cases will keep our tablets protected from damage. By the time my prekindergarten students enter kindergarten, they should be able to navigate computers, tablets and iPads , launching applications, and negotiating menus. Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future and allowing them to create projects will prepare them for their future careers.
