One of my main goals as a teacher is to provide my scholars with engaging learning opportunities. In Kindergarten roughly 30% of our scholars have limited proficiency. With your support they will be able to have more meaningful and engaging learning experiences. I want to ignite a passion for knowledge within my learners. Many of the learners receive a free or reduced meals based on their socioeconomic status. When the learners enter the classroom we focus on building a sense of community and ownership. Although I cannot control the experiences my scholars had prior to school, I can make our classroom a positive learning environment.
