I am requesting the Hummingbird Robotics Kits as a way for students to make Ancient Civilizations come to life. Students will create 3D models representing some aspect of life during ancient civilizations out of recycled materials. With the robotics kits, they can strengthen their new coding skills to enhance their models by adding physical animation. Students will incorporate the various sensors included in the kits to add moving parts, various changing lights, and audio recordings explaining their projects’ historical significance. Once projects are complete, students will present their work to various visiting classes as a living museum where they will act as docents.
