My students are hard workers that always try their best. They look up to me for love, support, and education. My classroom is carpeted so SitSpots would be perfect. We are a Title 1 school, and received a few Chromebooks, but no mice. Having Chromebooks in the classroom is great, because it teaches computer skills, and prepares them for State Stanardized Tesing. I may not have the biggest classroom library, but the internet can provide thousands of books for students to read and listen to during centers. We are trying to use less paper as a school, and the Chromebooks will help eliminate some paper. Of course, it's kindergarten, and they still need to learn to write, but there are websites that can assist students in proper formation of letters and numbers. I have tried to use ChromeBooks without the mice but students have a very hard time without it. They are used to touch screens at home and from preschool.
