Having TIME For Kids in the classroom will make a difference with my students' learning because currently, they do not have access to quality articles about what's happening in the world at large. Our small town does not even have a newspaper. To be competitive on the world stage, all students need an understanding of global issues and ideas. In these difficult times, students seek to find meaning in the world around them. This resource will allow them to see beyond what is happening in their neighborhoods and gain insight into other people's lives. I believe making connections between their lives and the lives of others will benefit my students.

About my class
