Learning in an organized classroom can make students so much happier. By using these shelves and baskets I will be able to organize my classroom library by genre. This will help my students take charge of what they are reading. As they are reading the books in these different genres, they will begin to learn more and more about how to identify different types of books and what they are about. Reading is so empowering for students and having an organized classroom library can help to aid in that feeling. As students begin to feel more empowered with the books they choose, they will begin to fall in love with books more and more. Reading can open a door to many different adventures and experiences. Adding a new set of books to a freshly organized library will be so exciting for my students! Whenever we get new books, they are always anxiously waiting for me to read them at the end of the day. By receiving shelves, book bins, and new books, it would show my students how genres are organized and it would continue to foster their love for reading and learning.
