I teach an inspiring class of 1st graders at a "green" charter school in Queens, NYC. My integrated co-teaching classroom aims to teach a diverse group of special education and general education students. Many of my students are English language learners and children with a wide range of special needs. Most qualify for free and reduced price lunch. My mission as a teacher is to guide children in finding the joy that exists in learning, friendship, and the world. Field trips, meaningful projects, and authentic experiences are hallmarks of my teaching. In my classroom, our differences and quirks are celebrated; our uniqueness is what makes this world an interesting place! Every one of my students is brilliant, powerful, and brimming with goodness. We thank you for your consideration to our projects. Your kindness supports the inspiring thinkers I am fortunate enough to call my students!
