When I think of the ever-changing needs of six, seven, and eight year olds, many different things come to mind! First and second graders are at such a crucial age both developmentally and academically. This is why I love the challenge and opportunity that I have to make such a difference in their lives right now. If I had to ask my students to walk away with only one thing this year, it would be to instill a love of literacy, imagination, and the passion to learn. Teaching is my passion and I will do everything in my power to help each student succeed.
