Please help to give my students interactive notebooks to aid in home to school distance learning transition. On March 13 we were told that due to Covid-19 virus we would be out of school for a few weeks, and we had one hour to prepare materials for our students. Well as we know, two weeks turned into the rest of the school year. The district has distributed technology to most families but they are missing basic school curriculum. It's true technology plays an important role in today's education but kindergarten is more about the basics. In these interactive notebooks there will be differentiated worksheets for every child so that he/she can continue to grow their brain even when not in school physically! No one knows what the 2020-2021 school year will be like. I am planning ahead for all scenarios. These interactive notebooks will be filled with all of the worksheets students need to be successful at home, whether that be for one day or a few months. If there are intermittent schedules, students will have these notebooks to complete work for their learning needs and academic level. These notebooks will also allow for more opportunities during guided learning video lessons.
