Brilliant students surround me. Walking through the hallways of our school, there is this harmony of sights and sounds hovering from classroom to classroom. In one hallway, a circle of students with stringed instruments are practicing, sending forth music for all. From the open doors of classrooms, Socratic method fills the air. My students read from classic and contemporary literature and practice writing that will serve them well in college and careers. They bring their motivation and curiosity. They are why I love teaching.
