My students live in a area where there are few resources and a very high poverty rate. Most students do not have any books, let alone a computer. Few of their parents can read in any language and they can't help their children with their homework. They also live in a remote area so they don't have companies and corporations donating things to the school like in some big city schools. Our school is struggling to get students ready for middle school when most students are not at grade level.
