The students I teach come from various backgrounds. Their experiences are different from one another that it leads to a different story at the end of each day. There are students who are eager to learn and will take advantage of any resources available to gain more knowledge. There are students who are in the middle of the road who get by but need that little push to keep that interest going. Then there are the students who need that constant push and belief from a teacher that things are possible. My school serves all types of children, but the one thing that everyone has in common is that no one will give up on each other, no matter how difficult the situation can be. The school provides a supportive environment as well as a structured environment for these students, which at times is what they need to realize what the world has to offer. All in all our students are diverse as far as skills, academic levels, viewpoints, but this diversity is also what makes our school what it is.
