I currently have 27 chairs in my classroom. 27 kids in one room causes a lot of chaos. Every day, I pull 5-6 kids to my desk for small group. These students must carry their books and their chair to me in order to work with me for 25 minutes. Having stools at my desk would allow my students to sit at my desk comfortably without wasting time lugging chairs across the room. They would be able to get up, and quickly walk over to my desk to get started with the small group mini lesson. The stools are also for those who enjoy "wobbling". As a 3rd grader, my students love wobbling their chairs. This would allow them to sit at my desk and get their wiggles out all while learning and growing!
