Safety equipment is needed for hands-on learning. Students last year learned while building solar lights for the school's new safe walkway/entrance. We have found that the biggest thing slowing us down is basic safety equipment. Safety glasses and cut resistant gloves will allow students to safely upcycle electronics and learn about energy. Students lose work time waiting for our limited supply of safety glasses and gloves that we share with other courses. By funding this project you will be letting students know that we value their safety and hands-on projects. Thank you for supporting our science and technology for all program.
