Technology and technological devices are now an integral part of everyone’s lives. If children are uneducated in the use of these devices then they are at a disadvantage as they grow up and move into adulthood. By implementing and teaching a curriculum based around technology, my students can develop multimedia methods of learning (reading, listening, writing, and watching)
My students need can experience educational apps from the tablets to teach them mathematics and English in a fun and engaging way, while learning how to use technology safely and effectively. I want to also use the tablets to promote tactile functions such as being able to click buttons, draw, and write all with just their fingers.
The wipe and erase pockets will also help in the small literacy groups and protect the important visual documents as the little ones make use of them in interactive learning.
