The supplies will assist students in bringing math alive. Most students hate math because they have only been given one way to see/learn it. My students are auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners and these supplies will help them see math in a different light. The headphones will be used when students work with technology to reinforce topics learned in class. The geometric shapes will help them visualize nets and bring 3D shapes to life. The timer, pencils and partitions will help keep the students prepared, organized and focused, in order to stay on task. Students will also benefit from a board game that will seem less like an academic task and more like playing!
