My students are in dire need of a multidimensional education. What this means is that they need to be given opportunities to practice skills and concepts taught more than once and in more ways than one. Supplies such as the leveled readers, bingo dabbers, smelly markers, LEGO, and the supply carts will ensure that I create activities that will appeal to their sense of creativity and interests and have places to house everything neatly within my room. As winter approaches, many of my students come to school unprepared for the below freezing temps outside during recess. My hope in possessing a classroom set of gloves is that my students can enjoy their brain break getting fresh air without any worry or fear of the cold.
