Flexible seating allows students to have a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them. They will be able to sit comfortably and allow for a more engaging environment. My students will then be able to work collaboratively, engage in critical thinking, and communicate. Flexible seating leads to active learning. If my project is funded, my students will have the start to a flexible seating classroom and a space they don't want to leave. The wobble chairs will allow them to move In a non- disruptive way, burn off excess energy, keep them sitting up and their body engaged.
